Fred the Shred is back in business. Before Christmas 2009, Sir Fred Goodwin started a new job as an international advisor to architecture firm, RMJM.
Two thoughts spring to mind:
- Will Sir Fred have to pay back at least some of his RBS pension?
- Was Sir Fred successful in international business before the great crash or did his dealings at RBS directly lead to its cash crisis?
The likely answers, unfortunately, are 'No' and 'Who knows?'
